In 2552, the Human-Covenant war ended. No longer under the looming spectre of genocide, humanity begins to rebuild. In 2588, a rebel faction managed to steal a great majority of the UNSC's military and civilian technology, as well as information on covenant technology as well. Armed with this information, they departed UNSC space with three great colony ships- the Sif, the Vanir, and the Mimir. They eventually landed upon Instillation 06, which had them relatively close to Kig'yar and Jiralhane space. As they built, they maintained a mining-colony on the nearby moon of Alf, and used the gas giant Jotun for fuel. In 2590, Kig'yar scavengers discover their colony, and the ensuing conflict is known as the Battle for Instillation 06.
Running Dark is the story of this conflict.

A Blog for various short fiction works that I hope to write.
Hello World!
Not much of a first post, but a first post all the same. To start us off on what will hopefully be a long, pleasant journey, I will hopefully be getting headlong into some wuxia shorts. See, I got a chance to read through Legends of the Wulin- obviously, I became rather enamored with the system, and a genre as a whole.
And, as is my way- Each setting will be handcrafted by myself. In some, like my wuxia setting, I'll be taking existing settings, and changing them up to more fit my vision of the environment for my stories. In others, it will be entirely new. I may also post shorts that may be considered 'fan fiction' by some. But you'll find that those will only go as far deep as the setting factors itself. As an example, I may do some stories rooted in the Assassin's Creed universe, but Altair and Ezio will be nonexistent. I don't like trying to work around other people's characters and events, and would instead do both sides a favor by leaving them out.
